Opulent Mobility is an international annual exhibit curated by founded by A. Laura Brody that asks artists to re-imagine disability as opulent and powerful; celebrated instead of denied, ignored, and feared. As part of a class project, I was tasked with rebranding Opulent Mobility's social media presence through creating a new wordmark logo, brand guideline, and editable social media templates.
I focused on signifying opulence in various ways while keeping the branding accessible and non-stereotypical. I incorporated opulence through jewel tones, luxurious fabric accents and textures, and crown imagery whilst highlighting two different mobility devices with a crown spoke wheelchair as the 'O' in Opulent and a walker as the 'y' in Mobility.
